Our combined careers span decades in community-based mental health and leadership support before stepping into entrepreneurship.  Bianca has worked in multitude of environments including front line, clinical, residential and education settings. Mika has worked as nurse, professor and psychotherapist in both clinical, community and out-patient settings. 


One insight became undeniable: traditional workplace wellness programs like standard “lunch and learns” often skim the surface but miss the deeper human factors that drive well-being, retention, performance, and productivity.
 

What’s often overlooked:

  • Neuroscience of attachment-  how relationships shape stress response and resilience in and out of the workplace. 
  • The nervous system as a performance driver- understanding the body’s control centre and how it works; how it can be manage for focus and performing under pressure. 
  • Somatic stress release- practical, embodied strategies to reset in real time to come back in the "now". 
  • The complexity of being human- every employee carries unique lived experiences, distress, and strengths. It is time to ditch the one size approach fits all to well-being. 


Over years of training and clinical practice, we’ve seen workplace learning initiatives fall short because they avoid the raw truth: our nervous system and our lived experiences shape how we lead, interact, communicate, and perform.


We’ve spent in combination, 30+ years working with trauma, stress, burnout, and leadership dynamics. 


Consistently, we see both leaders and front-line workers who:

  • End their days emotionally drained and burnt out.
  • Find work stress spilling into home life, perpetuating cycles of disconnection.

We begin by taking data from a pre-survey evaluation based on the presentation you choose. We identify trends in burn out and patterns within the organization based on employee's reports. From there, we provide a tangible tool kit, active real time reflection journal and handouts to help support the learning. We then end with a post evaluation survey after the presentation.
